A number of current and non-current professional athletes have expressed support for Donald Trump, who defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential election.
As Trump's inauguration as the 47th US president begins on Monday, some athletes appear to have traveled to Washington to attend the historic event.

The following athletes braved the frigid temperatures of Washington, D.C., to cheer on the president.
jake and logan paul

The Paul brothers have been big supporters of Trump in recent years. Trump also appeared on Logan Paul's podcast “IMPAULSIVE” during his campaign campaign in June. Jake Paul endorsed President Trump in late October and celebrated his victory after Election Day.
“Any American who doesn't support Trump after this speech simply hates America and doesn't want what's best for this country and the world,” Jake Paul wrote on X.

Jake and Logan Paul were pictured riding a bus to an inauguration event. Conor McGregor was seen sitting behind the two. McGregor was in Washington, D.C., all weekend, photographing meetings with several Trump administration cabinet nominees.
McGregor spoke to reporters on the red carpet at his inaugural ball.
“It's great to be here. I'm very excited and very optimistic about the future,” McGregor said. “And it's a good time here in the United States. I was last here in 2016 when Donald Trump was inaugurated as president. And there was energy and reaction day and night, and this is the best time he's ever been as president. It's a testament to how he's worked to get away, and how he's treated himself since then. ”

UFC President Dana White was spotted in the Capitol Rotunda with his wife. White has long been a big supporter of Trump. He spoke at Trump's rally at Capital One Arena on Sunday night.

Miriam Adelson, majority owner of the Dallas Mavericks, also attended the induction ceremony. NHL legend Wayne Gretzky was seen attending the induction ceremony hiding near White and Adelson before the celebrations began.
The former Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers superstar's appearance comes as President Trump touts the hockey legend as Canada's next leader. On Christmas Day, President Trump called on Canadians to encourage Gretzky to become the country's next prime minister.
