Trump’s Deportation Policy Sparks National Protests

Despite national protests against Trump’s deportation policies, his approval ratings seem to be improving. Meanwhile, some media outlets run by the left are portraying him as a tyrant.

Mark Meadows, former Chief of Staff to Trump, believes the former president is moving in the right direction, while those on the left may be underestimating his support.

Meadows commented, “The men and women working in ice and border patrol feel backed by a president who supports them.” He emphasized that “elections have consequences.” Jill Savage from BlazeTV agrees, stating that these policies reflect what the American electorate voted for, and the administration is merely attempting to enact them.

Interestingly, while the left attempts to unify legal immigrants to advocate for their causes, many legal immigrants seem to oppose the presence of criminals in the country.

Meadows noted that individuals advocating for secured borders include legal immigrants who came to the U.S. responsibly. He expressed surprise at the rising support Trump is seeing, questioning how his numbers could be increasing in light of the widespread dissent.

Christopher Bedford, a correspondent for Blaze Media in D.C., highlighted a common misunderstanding among Democrats, who often lump all immigrants—both legal and illegal—into a single category. He points out that not only are illegal immigrants crossing borders, but many legal immigrants are also involved in criminal activities in their communities.

“They assumed that Hispanic workers and immigrants would align with Black Lives Matter, but they actually represent distinct groups with different priorities,” Bedford added. He concluded that the miscalculations seem widespread.
