While Americans are still dealing with the psychological and economic damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the left has no problem threatening further lockdowns.
“Left-wing fanatics are trying desperately to reinstate COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions by stoking fear about the sudden emergence of new variants,” Donald Trump said in a newly released video.
“Oh my goodness, you know what else is coming?” he asked. “Elections.”
And there are plans for lockdowns and other COVID measures if Trump wins the 2024 election.
“To all the COVID tyrants who want to take away our freedom, I want you to hear these words: Don’t even think about it, because we will not comply,” he boldly stated.
“We will not close schools. We will not accept lockdowns. We will not adhere to mask mandates. We will not tolerate vaccination mandates.”
“They rigged the 2020 election, and now they’re trying to do it again by rigging the 2024 election, the most important election in the history of our nation, even if it means another COVID-19 outbreak,” he continued. “But they will fail, because we will not allow that.”
“When I return to the White House, I will use every authority to cut federal funding to schools, universities, airlines and public transportation companies that mandate mask wearing or vaccinations,” he concluded.
Pat Gray He has been impressed by former President Trump’s unashamed boldness and hopes it will also impress Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who has not publicly endorsed Trump so far.
In a video released ahead of Trump’s speech, Paul said: [Trump] “President Trump has my vote and my support and he wants me to be more active, so I’ll be forced to be more vocal about the lockdowns that I opposed and the civil rights violations that I opposed.”
While President Trump is now talking about a COVID-19 plan, Pat believes he needs to take a step back if he really wants to take bold action.
“I think it would be really helpful for him to say, ‘Look, I made some mistakes early on with the COVID situation, and I should have followed my own instincts instead of Anthony Fauci’s,'” Pat argues. “Acting as if nothing happened and that you had nothing to do with it doesn’t work.”
