Maxwell Frost (D-FL) said on Monday that MSNBC’s “Chris Yensing reports” that the Trump administration’s refusal to return Kilmer Abrego Garcia to the United States was a “constitutional crisis.”
“The Supreme Court has ordered the Trump administration to promote this man’s return to the United States, and they have refused to do so,” Frost said.
He continued, “It shows that they don’t consider the rule of law. And they can tell you everything they want on Fox’s news and spill all the BS they want. The fact in question is, when they started, it was all their administrations and they said this report and admitted that they made a mistake.
Frost said, “They are trying to sue left and right, but the facts in question are not in accordance with the Supreme Court decision for now. And no one should be very concerned about this. Of course, this is a constitutional crisis, but this will have a real impact on people all over the country. We’re talking about American citizens and here we’re sending American citizens to El Salvador.”
