Trump’s Strategy Against Harris ‘Nutty at Best and Racist at Worst’

CNN analyst Paul Begala said on “Anderson Cooper 360” on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump’s campaign strategy against Vice President Kamala Harris is “crazy at best and racist at worst.”

“Donald Trump doesn’t know the problems. All he knows is insults. And that worked for a while. The problem is he’s facing a young, dynamic woman who has revitalized the Democratic Party. He doesn’t know what to do, so he’s resorting to the same kinds of insults and smears and division. And I don’t think it’s working. I don’t think it’s going to work, and Democrats need to be very careful not to fall into that trap. But I don’t think it’s working,” Begala said.

He continued, “That’s why he’s so desperate. And I honestly feel sorry for this woman, Suzie Wiles, who’s running this campaign. I don’t know her, but she seems like a total professional. When she’s at the helm, they seem to actually get on well, and you can see her talking about issues the way Jennings is trying to talk about immigration.”

“But when Trump comes to power, he becomes exactly who he is – crazy at best, racist at worst,” she added.
