White House spokesman Karoline Leavitt said US President Donald Trump's “liberation day” tariff rafts will take effect shortly after they announced them on Wednesday.
“My understanding is that the tariff announcement will come tomorrow, they will soon be effective,” Leavit told reporters Tuesday.
