  • At the bottom: Inteldown 35%. Boeingdown 9%. Chevrona decrease of 7.5%.

SpaceX prepares for Polaris Dawn mission

  • CNBC’s Morgan Brennan reports on the Polaris Dawn mission, scheduled to launch Tuesday aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
  • SpaceX is a privately held company, but there are ways for private investors to get involved.
  • Cathie Wood’s ARK Ventures fund (ARKVX), which holds 11.5% of SpaceX, is up 6.5% from its December high and is flat over the past week, month, and three months.
  • Ron Baron’s Baron Focused Growth Fund (BFGIX) has a 10% investment in SpaceX, which is down a bit from its July highs and is roughly flat in August, but is up 8% over the three-month period.
