Tulsi Gabbard shifts presidential daily intelligence brief team from CIA to ODNI

National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard has transitioned the president’s daily intelligence briefings from the CIA to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), as confirmed by Fox News Digital.

A senior intelligence source mentioned that the director has traditionally “controlled” these daily briefs, so Gabbard’s move aims to enhance continuity and efficiency within the workforce.

The President’s Daily Brief (PDB) is essentially a daily summary that compiles critical national security information and analysis for the president and key advisors. It will now be coordinated and delivered by ODNI, incorporating input from the CIA and other intelligence entities. This service has been provided to the president since 1946.

Gabbard is addressing the “deep state” within the National Intelligence Council to eliminate any perceived political bias in intelligence.

This shift follows Gabbard’s recent relocation of the National Intelligence Council from the CIA to ODNI. Senior officials have indicated that the NIC has always been considered part of the DNI.

A CIA official noted that placing the NIC within the DNI makes logical sense. Another senior intelligence member highlighted that Gabbard’s emphasis is on delivering timely and accurate intelligence as the president’s main advisor.

“The PDB team and the NIC are crucial in providing this advice, so keeping them close to her will ensure better support,” the official explained. Essentially, the closer proximity will facilitate quicker responses and enhance her effectiveness as the principal intelligence advisor.

DNI GABBARD has referred intelligence officials to the Department of Justice for alleged leaks of classified information.

Officials clarified that both transitions aim to deliver more prompt and practical intelligence to the president.

Gabbard’s actions appear to target leaks and address concerns over “deep state” elements accused of manipulating intelligence analysis to undermine President Trump’s agenda.

Previously, there were orchestrated intelligence efforts related to the Biden campaign and the Hunter Biden laptop narrative.

So far, Gabbard has referred three intelligence agency members to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution regarding classified information leaks; this was first reported by Fox News Digital in April.

An official from ODNI was reportedly involved in leaking information to various news outlets. Recently, Gabbard dismissed a senior leader of the National Intelligence Council after he expressed anti-Trump sentiments.

Gabbard fired Mike Collins, who served as the deputy chair of the National Intelligence Council, as confirmed by his vice-chairman, Maria Langan Liekhov.

Attempts to reach Langan-Riekhof for comment were unsuccessful, and contact details for Collins were not immediately available. He has faced allegations of political bias and of undermining efforts related to the Trump administration.

There are connections to former deputy director Michael Morell and significant issues surrounding fraudulent claims about Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Authorities have characterized Langan-Riekhof as a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion initiatives, and she faces accusations of being fundamentally opposed to Trump.
