The Tunnel to Towers Foundation works to support the family of a fallen NYPD officer who left behind a wife and 1-year-old son.
The foundation is swore The organization announced Thursday that it will pay off the mortgage on the officer’s home in Massapequa Park, Long Island.

“Officer Diller, 31, was shot and killed by a career criminal Monday night during a traffic stop in Far Rockaway, Queens,” the foundation said in a statement.
“As Officer Diller and his partner approached a car illegally parked at a bus stop, a man inside opened fire, striking Diller, who was under his bulletproof vest. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where his injuries succumbed to his injuries. He died,” he added.

Meanwhile, Breitbart News identified the suspect in the case as 34-year-old Guy Rivera, who has been arrested more than 20 times in the past. After Diller was shot, officers continued to try to disarm the suspect, knocking the gun to the ground.
