TPUSA to Host “All American Halftime Show” as a Response to Bad Bunny
Turning Point USA (TPUSA) revealed on Thursday their plans for an “All American Halftime Show,” aiming to provide a patriotic choice to counter Bad Bunny’s planned performance at the Super Bowl in 2026.
The announcement came via X shortly after the NFL’s decision to feature Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny. His controversial stance on issues concerning Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and President Trump’s border policies have drawn attention, especially following his decision to omit American audiences from a previous tour.
“I’ve been holding this in all week,” commented TPUSA contributor and conservative voice Jack Posobiec. “And now, it’s finally official: The TPUSA All-American Halftime Show is here.”
🚨Important notice🚨
Indeed, Turning Point USA is excited to announce the All-American Halftime Show.
Performers and event details will be released soon.
August 2, 2026
TPUSA has yet to disclose the lineup, only mentioning that more information on performers and event specifics would follow, alongside the date, which coincides with the Super Bowl on February 8, 2026.
The organization also launched a website inviting fans to vote on which acts they’d like to see. Options include a variety of music categories such as “Anything in English,” “Americana,” “Classic Rock,” “Country,” “Hip-Hop,” “Pop,” and “Worship.”
In the meantime, Bad Bunny faced new criticism after he appeared to sit during his rendition of “God Bless America” at Yankee Stadium, leading some to label the act as disrespectful given his selection as the Super Bowl halftime headliner.
Additionally, Bad Bunny expressed that he would need “four months” to learn Spanish for his Super Bowl performance, remarking on this during his appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”
Since the announcement, TPUSA has received an overwhelming number of responses on their X account, with fans enthusiastically proposing artists for the “All-American” show.
