There he delighted school children with a geography lesson before taking a somber look at the legacy of British colonialism and slavery. Silver Haze director Sacha Pollack and actor Vicki Knight first collaborated on this emotional 2019 film. Knight plays Jade, a single mother who is left with extensive scarring from an acid attack by her ex-girlfriend. She tries to regain her normal life with her young daughter, her mother Lisa (Katherine Kelly), and her best friend Shami (Rebecca Stone), but has trouble adjusting to her new physical reality. This leads her down her dark path. A cruel and revealing drama in which newcomer Knight gives his all. Simon Wardell
