He wants to bring his beloved city back to the map of the world. And he has the mayoral blessing. First he visits Birmingham, Pemberton Township, New Jersey. It boasts “unused chemical plants and post offices” and “only hotels burned out 100 years ago.” Can he sign a contract with the town?
