Tragic Discoveries in Sinaloa

Recent reports from the Sinaloa State Attorney General’s Office reveal a horrific finding: 20 bodies, including four beheaded victims, were uncovered amidst ongoing violence between rival factions of the Sinaloa drug cartel. The bodies were located near bridges, with disturbing details that included human heads found inside plastic bags.

On Monday, officials confirmed that these deceased individuals suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Specifically, five of the bodies were beheaded, with four gruesome remains left displayed on a highway bridge, while another decapitated body was found in a van a short distance away.

In addition to the bodies, investigators discovered a plastic bag that contained five human heads nearby. The van involved was reportedly marked with a banner related to the ongoing conflict among the local drug cartels.

This tragic incident contributes to a broader wave of violence in the region, which saw a total of 27 individuals killed over the weekend, including a young man and two women who fell victim to armed attacks in Culiacan.

In light of this violent episode, Sinaloa’s government spokesman, Feliciano Castro, issued a statement asserting that local authorities are committed to intensifying efforts against organized crime.
