Two 19-year-old students arrested for caught-on-camera beatdown of Florida high school teacher

The 19-year-old high school pair were arrested Thursday at a Florida school on suspicion of assaulting a teacher who was forced into a fetal position while being blown away by a camera beatdown.

Reports say Javis McCullover and Roddrick McQueen arrived at a male teacher at Dillard High School around 2pm and said they threatened him before launching a vicious attack on the victim.

A Broward County public school teacher punched his face many times, turned his head over and over again, leading the educator to be “in the fetal position to protect him from injuries,” authorities said. According to ABC News.

Video obtained by Local 10 shows One of the suspects on top of the teacher in the fight.

As the two wrestled on the ground, other staff intervened to pull them apart, the video shows.

After the educator stood up, it appeared he pulled one of his Perps as security attempted to tamper with violence, local department reported.

“What you saw was a crowd of kids and they jumped over him,” one student told the local 10.

The teacher suffered injuries to his face and reported back pain after the attack, ABC News reported.

Two teenagers were charged with battery on public or private education employees.

Daniel Foganholi Sr., a member of the Florida Board of Education, called the attack on teachers “beyond disgrace.”

“Educators should not be afraid of safety while working. Schools should be a place of learning, not a battlefield.” He said on social media.

“Safe schools must be safe for everyone, including teachers, students, staff, and more. We need real solutions. Disciplinary policies, better security measures, and a culture of respect and protection for teachers.”

McClover and McQueen were released from custody after appearing in court but were ordered to avoid teachers and schools, Local 10 reported.
