Two judges of Iran's Supreme Court were shot dead and a third injured on Saturday.

The incident occurred in Tehran on Saturday, according to the judicial authority's Mizan news website.

Judicial authorities identified the slain judges as Ayatollahs Mohammad Moghiseh and Ali Rajini.

According to the website, the gunman shot and killed a judge outside the Supreme Court before committing suicide.

According to Iranian media, the bodyguard of one of the judges was also injured in the attack.
