TX mom saves 2 of her children from house fire, but dies inside with infant son

A Texas mother and her 1-year-old son died after a fire engulfed their home in Houston, Texas, but their two other children could not be rescued, authorities said.

The fire broke out just before 5 a.m. Saturday at a home in north Houston, according to the city fire department.

Giovanna Cabrera, 31, was able to get her 6-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son out of the house. She then returned indoors to rescue her one-year-old son Gabriel. However, her mother and son did not come out until the end, and the bodies were later discovered inside the house, authorities said.
