One NBA star brother makes headlines in court for all the wrong reasons.
Mile Hero, the younger brother of heatguard Tyler Hero, sparked a handshake line brawl during the Wisconsin High School basketball state playoffs on Thursday.
Miles Hero's Whitehall team lost to 56-49-year-old Waterford in the section semi-final game, but things exploded when he arrived at Kaede Gustafson as the team exchanged pleasure after the final buzzer.
For unknown reasons, Hero said something and as soon as he reached him he pushed Gustafson, who was leading Waterford's handshake line.
With his balance cut off for a second, Gustafson stood behind the table of scorers, believing his hands, as Hero began to surprise him.
One of Gustafson's teammates gave Hero some insults before Whitehall Guard had to intervene with Whitehall teammates and coaches, security.
The two teams traded shabs before things escalated.
The 6-foot-3 Hero, a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports, tallied 1,000 points in his high school career when he lost to Waterford.
He averaged 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists on 49% of shooting from the field.
Hero offers scholarships from western Illinois and Calpoly.
His older brother, Tyler Hero, has crafted an NBA career for himself.
He went on his sixth season at Miami, averaging 19.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists, shooting 49.8% from the field and 38.1% from the 3-point range.
Kentucky Products, 13th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, is a one-off All-Star and is the sixth Man of the Year in the 2021-22 season.
Middle Hero's brother Austin has finished his freshman season in South Carolina.
