U.S. House Votes to Block Biden’s Lead Ammo Ban

The House voted 214-201 Tuesday to block the Biden administration’s ban on the use of lead ammunition on federal lands and waters.

south carolina daily report I got it. The majority of votes that led to the bloc’s passage came from Republicans, with a small number of Democrats also voting for the bloc.

The bill to block this ban, HR 615, was introduced by Representative Rob Whitman (R-VA).

Whitman spoke in support of the bill on the House floor, noting that much of the opposition to the bill comes from people who don’t hunt or fish.

People who have never gone hunting or fishing have no idea what I’m talking about. The Biden administration’s efforts to ban lead ammunition and tackle are ridiculous and not based in science. My Hunter and Angler Access Protection Act ensures that federal agencies do not unreasonably restrict access for athletes and women.

Republicans Vern Buchanan, Brian Fitzpatrick, and Matt Gaetz voted against HR615.
