The US State Department has designated six drug cartels in Mexico, the Salvador Malasal Battle Cha and the Venezuela Trend Araghua Gang as foreign terrorist organizations, confirming previous reports by Breitbart Texas. The New York Times incorrectly reported that the list contained Colombian cartels that were not so designated.
Submitted by Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday, February 19th. Announcement 12672 The Federal Register officially designated certain cartels and criminal gangs as foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs).
As Breitbart Texas reported on February 13th, groups currently labelled terrorists include:
-Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13)
– Tren de Aragua (Aragua train)
– Cartel del Sinaloa (Sinaloa Cartel, Mexican Federation, Guadalajara Cartel)
-Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG, Jalisco's new generation cartel)
-Carteles Unidos (United Cartels, Cartel de Tepalcatepec, Tepalcatepec Cartel, The Grandfather Cartel, Cartel del Abuelo, Cartel Los Reyes)
-Cartel del noreste (CDN, Northeast Cartel, Los Zetas)
-cartel del Golfo (CDG, Gulf Cartel, Ociel Caldenas gillus organism
-la Nueva Familia Michoacana (LNFM)
The list does not include Clander Golfo from Colombia. New York Times The reported cases were designated as such by human smuggling operations. The designation of terrorists comes when the Trump administration puts pressure on Mexico to act against drug cartels.
All the cartels on the list are linked to mass murder, secret cemeteries, extensive inducements, torture, arson and torture. As part of their enforcement action, all six Mexican cartels have been linked to the indiscriminate use of explosives that killed, injured innocent victims and spread fear into Mexico.
As reported by Breitbart Texas, all criminal organizations were able to operate with near-full immunity due to the protection of corrupt Mexican government officials and the inaction of the country's military and federal forces.
