UFC fighter Carlos Ulberg knocks out Alonzo Menifield in 12 seconds

It took Carlos Wolberg longer to enter the UFC Octagon on Saturday night in St. Louis than it did to knock out opponent Alonzo Menifield.

Both men touched gloves in the center of the cage, and Menifield was the first to strike. However, he tripped and fell into the cage. It allowed Ulberg to unleash a fist of rage. Ullberg connected with the left, surprising Menifield.

Ullberg hit Menifield with a right hand, and the 11th-ranked light heavyweight fell onto his back. The referee then stopped the match.

The entire match lasted about 12 seconds. It was the third-fastest light heavyweight knockout win in UFC history.

It was Ullberg’s sixth straight win since March 2021, when he lost by knockout to Kennedy Nizechuk. Menifield won four of five matches against Jimmy Crute, tying the game at midfield.
