White, one of the most high-profile speakers, is likely to be joined by members of Trump’s family and campaign staff for his partner, whose name has not yet been released.

Trump has long been seen as the likely Republican nominee, with his policy proposals, charisma and overall popularity giving him an early lead in the primaries.

Trump will now officially represent the Republican Party and face off against Democratic nominee Joe Biden, 81, in the 2024 presidential election. Biden’s donors, aides and campaign staff have raised doubts about his candidacy, and 14 senior members of Biden’s own party recently urged him to step down so Democrats can find a new candidate.

Democrats are concerned about Biden’s standing as a reelection candidate after his extremely poor performance in the June 27 presidential election.Number Debate with Trump.

Meanwhile, Trump’s ability to connect with older and younger audiences, helped in part by his frequent appearances at UFC events, has shown Americans that he can easily combine work and play and that, when it comes to Trump, he is “what he seems,” which voters say is refreshing and different from other presidents.

Trump also uploaded a TikTok video of himself and White ahead of a UFC event that evening.

At a campaign rally in Claremont, New Hampshire, late last year, Trump jokingly mentioned the possibility of appointing White as “secretary of defense” in his second administration.

“Dana White, you know Dana White? The great Dana White… there’s a guy I’d like to have as Secretary of Defense,” Trump joked.

“I wouldn’t call him the defensive chief. I’d call him the offensive chief. He’s my offensive chief. But he’s done a great job,” he added with a big smile on his face.

White has already spoken at the Republican National Convention in 2020 and 2016. He praised Trump for his efforts to end illogical COVID-19 restrictions and for encouraging the growth of mixed martial arts, for example by hosting events at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City in the early 2000s.
