UFC President Dana White responded to the “disgust” after Blythe Mitchell, an American fighter, began a wild rant to praise Adolf Hitler in his opening episode of his podcast.
White addressed this issue at a press conference on Thursday and accused him of his “Baron” fighter to comment on colorful languages.
“I've heard a lot of stupid and ignorant SH*T in my time, but this is probably the worst,” he started. “When I talked about Hitler, he was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews, and he tried to completely eliminate people.”
White was added as follows: “Hitler is one of the most disgusting people walking on the earth's face, and anyone who is trying to take the opposite position is stupid.
“That's the problem of the Internet and social media. You provide a platform for many stupid and ignorant people.”
When UFC asked if he would discipline Mitchell, White quoted his freedom of speech.
“It's a beautiful thing in this business. For those who dislike Blythe Mitchell, you can see his ass on global TV,” White said.
“It's free speech,” said White. “I don't have to love it. You don't have to love it.”
At the podcast, Mitchell called Hitler as a “good man” who wanted to go fishing together.
“To be honest, Hitler is a good man based on my own research, not my civil education,” said Mitchell. “Before Hitler became a scalpel, I really think he was a man who went fishing together. He fought for his country. He destroyed his country and all of his homosexuality. I wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews.
Mitchell has fought in UFC since 2018. His last victory played in December with Brazilian Jiu -Jitsu and MMA's legendary Rixon Gracie son, Clon Glacie.
