First on FOX – The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) suddenly cut off the video statement when the speaker mentioned the fate of Ariel and Kfir Vivas.

The incident occurred during a “interactive dialogue” regarding the UNHRC's consideration of the High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk on “the human rights situation and obligation to ensure accountability and justice in occupied Palestinian territory.”

During “interactive dialogue,” experts are permitted to speak to the council about human rights issues discussed during regular sessions.

Anne Beyfsky, director of the TOOO Human Rights Institute and the Holocaust, says she submitted a video statement to UNHRC, but was cut off just seconds later. UN Human Rights Council President Jürg Lauber has stopped the video and declared Bayefsky was using an inappropriate language.

Bayefsky starts by saying, “The world now knows the Palestinian savage who murdered the nine-month-old baby Kfir,” and is almost immediately cut off by Lauber.

“Sorry, I have to stop,” Lauber said suddenly as Beyfsky's video was paused. Lauber briefly opposed the “language” used in the video, but allowed it to continue. A few more seconds later, the video was completely blocked. Lauber reiterated that “the language used by speakers is unacceptable,” adding that “it clearly exceeds the limits of tolerance and respect.”

“Sane countries can't stand this”: lawmakers begin efforts to withdraw us from the United Nations

Bayefsky told Fox News Digital that uncertified NGOs are required to provide transcripts and videos a day before the “interactive dialogue.” She believes the UN “managed” the incident because Congress advanced access to her videos and transcripts and knew what she said.

Pascal Sim, a spokesman for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comments on Bayefsky's allegations.

“It's a complete farce. There is no free speech at the UN for NGOs calling for UN anti-Semitism. This is not harmless censorship. This is the war the UN declared against Americans, against Americans, against speech,” Bayefsky told Fox News Digital.

Bayefsky explained to Fox News Digital that he started the video this way because he was assigned 1 minute and 30 seconds to deal with the council and wanted to “reach the point.”

“The actual fear of the Palestinian eradication of Vivas babies was off limits and it was “inappropriate” to blame for their murder and torture,” Beyfsky said.

Bayefsky also argues that another part of her video may have been the fault of censorship.

“What UN officials knew, and what the audience didn't know, in my statement, I called for accountability to Chairman Hai himself, one of the leading drivers in the world of Palestinian terrorism and anti-Semitism,” Bayefsky told Fox News Digital.

In a transcript of a blocked video shared with Fox News Digital, Bayefsky calls Türk “the High Commissioner for Human Mistakes” and says he has “the blood of a Jewish innocent man in his hands.”

Critics, including Bayefsky, denounced Türk on October 7, 2023, for publishing a statement that appears to equate Hamas' attacks with Israeli responses. In a statement, Türk said he was “shocked and appalled” by the violent attacks before denounced Israel.

In response to a digital request from Fox News, the digital request for comments that Bayefsky's video has been blocked said, “The words of the President of the Human Rights Council speak for themselves.”

During the same hearing, Qatar was allowed to accuse Israel of being “torror” and using “group punishment” and “impose” the West Bank and Gaza without evidence or interruption. Several speakers were also allowed to accuse Israel of carrying out genocide, which was also not objected by Lauber.

Furthermore, the children's defense, which he described as a “local Palestinian child rights group,” argued, “knows that Israeli soldiers can kill Palestinian children with immunity and do not face occupational or legal consequences.” No evidence was provided and the council did not oppose the charges.

“We know exactly why I was censored by knowing that the UN didn't censor during this same 'dialogue',” Bayefsky told Fox News Digital. “Not a censorship or a cut-mic had any issues saying that Israel was committing a 'genocide against the Palestinians'. The instigation and violence of blood honour and hatred was enormous.

Bayefsky says it's time for the US to cut off funding for OHCHR.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order banning the US from joining UNHRC, but did not address funding for the OHCHR, explained Bayefsky.

“Most of the US funding to the United Nations in this context is for Türk and his kingdom, located in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. If Americans need another reason not to pay another cent for non-led, deadly anti-Semitism, this is it. ”
