Both Democrats and conservatives have called on Biden to withdraw from the presidential race due to concerns about his declining cognitive abilities, but Biden and his administration have remained adamant that he is fully qualified for the presidency.
But after Biden was interviewed by NBC News’ Lester Holt, the tone seemed to magically change.

“If I have any kind of medical issue that comes up — if the doctor comes in and says you have this issue, you have that issue,” he told Holt, implying he would step down if it was deemed medically necessary.
In fact, doctors came to see him shortly after the interview, complaining of symptoms, and just hours later, as Biden was preparing to speak at a Unidos event in Las Vegas, he suddenly contracted COVID-19.
According to Dave, it was “perfect timing.”
Given everything working against Biden – Trump’s “incredible momentum” after the first debate and the “assassination attempt” – and the extraordinary unity currently occurring at the Republican National Convention, Dave says it’s no wonder “the Democratic Party is in complete disarray.”
“The powers that be at the DNC are trying to figure out what to do here. They can’t force him out. There won’t be enough votes on the 25th Amendment side. Kamala and [Pete Buttigieg]”There’s nobody left. President Obama has basically realized he can’t serve a fourth term, so they need to get rid of him now to turn things around,” he explains.
