“We’re not going to waste a lot of time talking to all the Americans who support Donald Trump, and we’re not going to waste a lot of time with some members who support Donald Trump. Because we’re not going to change their minds,” Sean McGarvey said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

NABTU announced in a press release that it will formally endorse President Harris and Vice President Harris at the annual National Legislative Conference.Biden is set He is scheduled to speak at the NABTU meeting on Wednesday.

“The construction unions of North America can honestly say that no elected official has shown more respect for our members and their families than President Joe Biden,” McGarvey said in a press release. “Through his policies and personnel, President Biden has shown a laser-like focus not only on rebuilding our nation’s infrastructure and manufacturing, but also on rebuilding America’s middle class itself.”

McGarvey said in an interview on “Morning Joe” that his union intends to “focus on the 10 to 15 percent of members who can have a conversation.” Explain to them the facts and give them projects they are actually working on how to support a family today. ”

“‘Do you know how that project came about?’ It came about after he saved our pensions, through three monumental bills, and now the largest this country has ever seen. We’re creating the biggest infrastructure boom we’ve ever seen,” McGarvey said, as if simulating a conversation with union members. “We call this the ‘infrastructure generation’ that Joe Biden will create.”

Mr. McGarvey also went after Mr. Trump in a press release, saying his union has “taken Mr. Trump’s word for pro-worker policies and delivering on long-standing issues like infrastructure investment.”

“Instead of enacting policy, he aligned himself with his billionaire cronies to enact tax cuts and raise costs for members,” McGarvey said of Trump. “Simply put, he failed to deliver. Considering our experience and his track record, the choice is clear.”
