United Airlines pilots apparently work as tellers.
Shocked passengers shared a video of the pilot repairing the window just before takeoff.
instagram story video shared by TMZ Staff in pilot uniforms are pictured holding window seals, placing them in place and calmly making sure everything is safe as passengers look on before a flight from Denver to Dallas. It is.
“Are they literally replacing the ‘window’ and all of us just relaxing and sitting here waiting for takeoff?!?!?” The flyer was posted on Sunday by a self-proclaimed early childhood expert named Christine. I wrote this in the story thread.
“I have so many questions. Is this our pilot? Will the pilot need to replace his windows? Is this normal?!” the woman wrote in a message alongside the video. The video showed a man wearing a pilot’s striped insignia working on the window.
She then expressed relief that the plane had arrived safely at its destination.
“Window didn’t jump out of a plane. It’s eclipse season, folks. Miracles do happen,” Kristin added. Christine is seen holding a sleeping baby on his lap.
It’s unclear what type of plane was involved, but the disturbing footage comes amid a series of headline-grabbing aviation safety incidents, including one involving an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9.
The plane suffered a nearly catastrophic mid-flight accident at an altitude of 16,000 feet when a door plug blew out.
The plane made an emergency landing in Portland, Oregon, leaving a hole the size of a refrigerator. Miraculously, only one of the 177 passengers was injured.
The Post reached out to United about the incident involving what appears to be a pilot-turned-mechanic.
