A University of Kansas lecturer has been placed on administrative leave after violent comments against men who do not support a female presidential candidate went viral on social media.
In a video shared on X, the lecturer slams men who think they are smarter than women, and then appears to link these ideas to the presidential election.
[If you think] Men are smarter than girls, you have a serious problem,” the instructor appeared to say to an auditorium full of students as the recording began. They refuse to vote for a potential female president because they don't think women are smart enough to be president. ”
“You can line up all of those guys and shoot them. They obviously don't understand how the world works,” he continued.
Democrats have repeatedly made violent statements against the former president, saying, “The time has come to corner Trump.''

He quickly added, “Did I say that? Scratch that from the recording, I don't want the dean to hear I said that.”
Video of the violent remarks quickly went viral on social media, racking up millions of views on Wednesday.
Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) responded to the video and called on the university to fire the instructor.
“Disturbing video from the University of Kansas Professor. Anyone who says men who don't vote for Kamala Harris should “line up and get shot” is crazy and shouldn't be around students or academia. I believe the University of Kansas will take immediate action and fire this professor.''Republican I wrote to X.
According to the student newspaper, University Daily Kansan, The man in the video is Phil Lowcock, director of international athlete support at the University of Kansas. He also serves as a part-time lecturer at the school, as well as a health and sports and exercise instructor.

The University of Kansas confirmed that the instructor was employed by the school and was on administrative leave during the investigation.
“The university is aware of a classroom video in which an instructor makes inappropriate references to violence,” the university said. in a statement.
“The lecturer has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation. The lecturer has sincerely apologized and deeply regrets the situation. His intention was to highlight the defense of women's rights and equality. “Therefore, the university has an established process for situations like this, and we intend to follow that process.” ”
The university has received negative attention for offering a history course to students called “Angry White Male Studies.”
