University of Kansas fires professor who called for anti-Harris male voters to be lined up and shot

A professor was caught on video asking male voters to be shot if they refused to support Vice President Kamala Harris. fired That's what I got from my job at the University of Kansas.

A video of Dr Phil Lowcock joking about executing male voters went viral on Wednesday.

“Did I say that? Scratch that from the recording. I don't want the deans to hear what I said.”

“Boys are smarter than girls. You have a serious problem, and that's what's frustrating to me,” Lowcock told a classroom full of university students.

“There will be some men in our society who will refuse to vote for a potential female president because they don't think she's smart enough to be president,” he added. “Just line up all those people and shoot them. They obviously don't understand how the world works. Did I say that? Listen to the recording. Ask the deans what I said.” I don’t want to.”

Mr. Lowcock was immediately placed on administrative leave by the university, but it was announced two days later that he had been fired. The university said administrators are “working to identify a new instructor to take responsibility for the class and we are working with students affected by this change.”

Kansas Republican Sen. Roger Marshall, who had called for Lowcock's removal, welcomed the decision.

The university initially issued a statement claiming that the professor was simply trying to support women's rights when he said male voters should be lined up and executed.
