Chelsea Gray has started to have an unparalleled question surrounding her standing WNBA As one of the league's elite players.
The Las Vegas ace star finishes the championship – thanks to a dominant month in basketball, she explodes a league record 39 points in the semi-finals and follows it with an 8-assist performance of 18 points in the championship game.
And after a debate about whether the best days of veteran security guards are behind her, there can be no denying that there are so few security guards who are better than grey in all of women's basketball.
Gray was able to overcome his first half shooting struggle and scored 15 second half points. This was headlined by the half-court heave that came at the end of the buzzer in the third quarter, giving it a slight advantage towards the final period.
Played mostly by veteran guards, Rose beat Vinyl 62-52 to win his first unparalleled championship. She was eventually named the unparalleled Finals MVP, averaging 29.5 points in the playoffs, shooting 3-44%.
“It's just a testament to my job as I do all year round,” Gray said in a post-game celebration for TNT. “And it's a testimony to my team, a man.”
First-time head coach Nora Henry gave great praise to Las Vegas' ace guard.
“Chelsea took us on her back all season,” she said.

In another reminder, Chelsea Gray heard the noise when she returned from an injury with her ace last season.
“Please keep the same energy… I got the receipt I'm talking about.”

How Chelsea Gray and the Rose Club did it
Chelsea Gray wasn't the only champion of Rose Club in the championship game. Britney Sykes exploded 21 points, sealing the deal with a drive to win. Azura Stevens added 19 points and 16 rebounds, allowing Bala to overcome the absence of All-Star Kahleah Copper and newly crowned defensive player of the year Angel Lease.
“Obviously, Angels aren't here,” Stevens said during TNT's championship presentation. “So, I just had to step up because it's the other size… I'm so happy and proud of my team.”
The team was able to ultimately overcome the 2-4 start of the season, finishing season 8-6, securing the second-best record in the league. That led them to face races in the first round of the playoffs.
“It's just a team full of ruthless Dawgs who refuse to be rejected,” Henry said.
Vinyl didn't reach the championship
On the other side of the bracket, vinyl completed the biggest upset of the year that beat the moon's owl, which was 13-1 in the regular season on Sunday night. Vinyl finished the season with a 5-9 record but used a balanced offense led by Dearlica Humvee, Jordyn Canada and Rhine Howard to punch tickets to the championship.
However, the Humvee was limited to just 8 points in the championship, with Howard shooting 8-22 from the field to 22 points, and Canada was unable to replicate the hot shooting from the semi-finals, sinking three of 12 shots.
In turn, the roses win.
At the end of the championship celebration, Chelsea Gray lifted up a shirt listing pre-season rankings. This predicted that Rose would finish sixth in the rankings in the six-team pool.
Gray wasn't surprised by the outcome.
“I did my job,” she said. “I know that's going to happen.”
