Honduran police announced that Gilbert Reyes Bermudez, an American national, was arrested in the Dominican Republic on suspicion of killing three women on the Honduran island of Roatan.
The 36-year-old suspect is accused of killing Maria Antonia Cruz, Nikendra McCoy and Dione Solzano on January 6th after going out with them. The next day, Reyes Bermudez was charged with fleeing Honduras and the women were reported missing. Three days later, their bodies with gunshot wounds were found inside the car, according to Costa Rican newspaper Tico Times.
The newspaper reported that one of the victims, Solorzano, was Reyes’ ex-partner.
According to the online newspaper Dominican Today, Reyes Bermudez arrived in the Dominican Republic on March 16th.

The Dominican newspaper Dominican Today reported that authorities seized $205 in cash and 600 pesos from Reyes-Bermudez, as well as personal items including an American passport, two cell phones, documents, keys, glasses and a wallet. It was reported that. By OCN-Interpol Santo Domingo.
The Honduran National Police announced on Facebook that the process to extradite Reyes to Honduras has begun. The Honduran government said in a press release that crime scene evidence and witness testimony will be used in the case against him.
