The US state of Alabama executes the man after he withdraws the appeal and says he “don’t want to waste everyone’s time.” James Osgood, 55, admitted to having admitted to demanding death penalty for raping and murdering a woman 15 years ago, according to reports. CBS News.
Osgood will be executed by a fatal injection at William Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Alabama on Thursday (April 24th) at 6pm.
“The reason I dropped the complaint is because I was guilty of murder. I saw the eyes and took my teeth for my teeth, and I was confiscated.

Osgood said he regrets all the “pain and suffering” that caused Brown’s family and himself. He added that he will not use Brown’s name while discussing the case, as he feels he has no right to do so.
“I would like to say to the victims’ families, and I apologize, I’m not going to ask them what they’re forgiving because I know they can’t give it,” Osgood said.
Osgood added that he does not want a death penalty opponent to protest in his name.
“I don’t want to protest. There’s no need. I asked for this. If you want to protest the execution, that’s fine. Don’t use my name as your platform,” he said.
In particular, Osgood’s initial death sentence was notified by the Court of Appeals’ ruling that inappropriate instructions were given to the ju judge. However, during his 2018 resting, Osgood asked to be executed.
