Fashion Takes Center Stage at Tennis Event
High fashion was on full display as trendsetters showcased a preppy aesthetic featuring tennis-themed heels, chic dresses, and vibrant green nail polish.
The stylish crowd rivaled the Kentucky Derby as they dressed to impress at the Nines.
“Honestly, I’m not into tennis at all. I just came for the fashion. I’ve got some amazing outfits,” said Elena Miglino, a makeup artist, at the event.
“I think I’ll share some of this on social media. Maybe I’ll make a fun TikTok,” added Miglino, who once appeared on “My New BFF of Paris Hilton.”
Emma Goodwin, 27, a stay-at-home mom from Tennessee, unveiled her unique look with a white tennis skirt and custom-made high heels adorned with spikes.
“My husband loves tennis, and since I married into a tennis family, I decided to embrace tennis fashion,” she mentioned, explaining her style choice. Her inspiration stemmed from Zendaya’s sporty chic look in her film “Challenger.”
Other attendees added their own flair to the tennis motif.
Nicole Cier, a banker from New Jersey, embraced the theme with a Kate Spade wallet shaped like a tennis ball and coordinated neon green nails. “I go to tennis matches, but honestly, I’m all about the fashion,” she said, donning a fitted white skirt and a fedora adorned with a tennis ball scarf.
“It’s great to connect with people over style. You see someone and think, ‘You look fantastic,’” she added.
Meanwhile, the stadium buzzed with fashion enthusiasts, including Alexander Hahn, 33, from Dallas, who wore a Ralph Lauren polo, high-end loafers, and a custom tennis ring from Florence.
“This is a major tournament, so you want to bring your A-game,” he remarked, alongside his wife, Sierra, who participated in the event’s “Kisscam.” “Dressing up is part of the experience.”
Tennis fan Samuel Phillips, 23, turned heads in stylish white linen pants, a baby blue adidas polo, and sleek white Stan Smith sneakers. “This event encourages a fashion vibe among fans,” he said. “I knew I had to bring my fashion game.”
