Another American hostage is scheduled to be released Wednesday. Pennsylvania teacher Mark Vogel returned to the United States the day after he was imprisoned in Russia.
President Trump's hostage envoy Adam Borler confirmed the latest hostage release In an interview with Fox News on Tuesday night.
“It's another thing in the hostage stream. It's just one-sided, and I can't release it. [the person’s name] Until that person is released, obviously it could put the release of hostages in danger, and I can't do it,” Bowler told host Sean Hannity.

“But we can say we expect something else tomorrow. And we hope for more through that, as the president made it a priority to bring all Americans home,” he said. I added.
Bowler revealed the development just before Trump was expected to meet Vogel at the White House. Vogel was sentenced to 14 years in a Russian prison after being arrested for claiming that it was legally prescribed marijuana.
The White House announced Tuesday that Vogel had been released.
It was not immediately clear which Russians had been released in exchange for Fogel's freedom, or how many Russians had been released.
This is a developing story. Please check for updates.
