Vancouver Auto show pulls Tesla over safety concerns

The Vancouver International Auto Show removed Tesla products one day before the scheduled event on safety concerns.

“The main concern with the Vancouver Auto Show is the safety of our participants, exhibitors and staff,” Eric Nicole, executive director of the Vancouver Auto International Show, said in a statement.

“This decision will allow all participants to focus solely on enjoying many positive elements of the event.”

Tesla is reportedly likely to withdraw from the show and will welcome exhibitors from Wednesday through Sunday.

Canadian utility BC Hydro has pulled the company out of its electric vehicle rebate program to prioritize Canadian products.

Musk said he is undergoing a pushback for fraud and attempts to stop waste.

He told Fox News' Sean Hannity on Tuesday, “You're the people's… scams, the money they're receiving fraud, they're so upset and they're basically stopping scams, I want to kill me.”

The tech giant said, “And they want to hurt Tesla because they're stopping this terrible waste and corruption in the government. And I think they're bad people. Bad people do bad things.”

His comments come as several Tesla dealers in the United States were burned and destroyed.
