Vanessa Trump shares that she is now free of cancer following her fight with breast cancer.

Vanessa Trump has shared an uplifting update, announcing that she is now cancer-free after her battle with breast cancer. This heartfelt news was revealed in a recent video featuring her daughter, Kai Trump, just months after she publicly disclosed her diagnosis.

In a snippet posted on Instagram during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 19-year-old Kai, who is also the granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, mentioned that her mother received the diagnosis back in April. “My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April, so we thought we’d share her story and how she was diagnosed, how she overcame it,” Kai explained in the video.

As the video concluded, Vanessa expressed her relief, stating, “And it came back clear, so I’m finally cancer-free.” Kai’s emotional reaction was evident as she simply replied, “Love you!”

The clip also featured Dr. Nicole Saphier, a former Fox News medical contributor, who emphasized the significance of awareness and early detection in breast cancer. “It feels different for everyone,” she noted, appreciating social media’s role in spreading awareness about the commonality of the disease.

Earlier in the month, Kai announced that she had a conversation with her mother and Dr. Saphier, discussing Vanessa’s journey through cancer, prevention, and the importance of early detection on YouTube.

Vanessa, the mother of five, had initially shared her diagnosis in May, stating, “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.” At that time, she also thanked her family for their unwavering support as she navigated through the treatment process.

Support poured in from family, including Ivanka Trump, who wished her mother a swift recovery, expressing, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.” By June, Vanessa mentioned she was recovering from surgery and getting ready to start the next phase of treatment.

In an emotional moment during her first semester at the University of Miami, Kai opened up about the challenging yet bonding experience with her mom. “There was definitely, there was a lot of crying in, like, the week leading up,” she shared. “We would just be driving, and then we’d just start crying together.” Thankfully, she reported that her mother’s health was improving post-treatment.

As summer came to a close, Kai reflected on the time spent with her mother. “I was able to spend extra time with her that I would normally probably spend on the golf course,” she said, considering it a “blessing in disguise.” Now, as they look ahead, this mother-daughter duo is embracing a hopeful new chapter after overcoming such a significant challenge.
