Three self-proclaimed U.S. Navy Marines was hit Police say the group were trampled by a mob of teens as they confronted them for being unruly on a beach in California.
A video of Friday’s incident in the San Clemente Pier Bowl area surfaced on social media, showing a large group of teens attacking Marines.
One of the victims of the attack, Hunter Antonino, Said KCAL-TV reported that a group of teenagers were acting belligerent and setting off firecrackers on the beach. When he asked them to stop, he was hit in the head with a splinter and an argument began.
A video on social media showed a teenager punching one of his victims in the back, starting a brawl.
Two of the victims fell on the ground in a fetal position and the teenage boys beat and kicked them.
Eventually two other adults dispersed the crowd and ended the attack.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said it was working to identify the teenage boys involved.
Sergeant Mike Woodroof Said The Marines said they were treated for numerous injuries at the scene but refused further treatment at the hospital.
“The Orange County Sheriff’s Department will continue to investigate this matter until all those responsible have been identified and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” it said in a statement on social media.
They added that they are stepping up patrols in the area to ensure public safety.
KCAL reported that there were at least two city cameras in the area that captured footage of the attack.
“Look, this is San Clemente. Marines are always welcomed here, always celebrated, always cared for. That’s why this is especially tragic,” San Clemente Mayor Chris Duncan told KCAL. rice field.
