mobile phone video We caught a nervous moment at the Indianapolis bar on Friday. A bartender grabbed a baseball bat and slapped it on the floor, demanding that President Donald Trump's female supporters leave the establishment as they wore a hat that “makes America great again.”
However, the bar issued a statement that women supporting Trump and her friends “erroneously harassed the employee with gender and harassment” among other claims.
So the first bartender picked up a baseball bat and told Hensley, “I'm not around. Get out of my bar.”
Elise Hensley He told Wish-TV She and her friends went to the popular Chatterbox jazz bar they did on several other occasions, but this time the station said some of them chose to wear Maga Hats.
“We went to the bar, and before we could speak or order a drink, he just looked at me and he said 'No'. And I said, “Sorry?” He said, “Absolutely not,” he said, “Your hat. You need to leave now,” Hensley said, wishing.
Hensley tells the station that she has left the bar, but decides to go back inside immediately and ask why she was kicked out. Wish said Hensley had video of the interaction. You can see and hear the following video From X users:
“No! No! We're not answering the question! Get out of the bar!” cried the bartender.
“Why?” Hensley asks.
“You're a Trump supporter,” the bartender replies.
“I know, but don't you guys want our money?” Hensley asks.
“No! I don't actually do that. Get out of the bar now,” the bartender responds, probably before pointing towards the exit.
“Not welcome,” a second bartender hears.
So the first bartender picks up a baseball bat and slaps it on the floor while he tells Hensley, “I'm not out of the bar.”
“Are you serious?” Hensley asks.
“I'm seriously dying,” replies the bartender. “Outside.”
“Because you're wearing a Trump hat?” Hensley asks incredibly.
“Yes,” the bartender replies.
“It's wild,” Hensley said.
“I don't care,” says the bartender. “Get out.”
“We can call the police, or you can just leave,” the second bartender said.
“You know this is discrimination, right?” Hensley said.
A fair amount of laughter exploded, and the first bartender said, “Oh, boo-hoo! Boo-F **King-Hoo! Get out of my bar.”
So the video will close immediately.
Hensley told Wish on Sunday: He is our president. I appreciate it and I don't think he will find anything wrong with me wanting to wear a Trump hat because he is our president. ”
The station said Chatterbox did not respond to requests for interviews but issued a statement. Instagram. I will read in part:
On Friday, March 14th, a group of individuals visited the chatting box, and were asked by staff to leave after intentionally breaking down and harassing Chatterbox employees. They then continued to verbally assault our patrons and staff, threatened our establishment, and returned to record videos currently being posted on multiple social media platforms.
Chatterbox has a diverse group of staff and patrons. We do not tolerate dehumanisation or rude language or symbolism in our establishment. We have the right, by law, to refuse service to anyone who disrupts our business.
We look forward to continuing to be a home for people who love music and appreciate our community.
Hensley hoped that no one would harass or harass anyone at the bar.
“They probably have all the rights to drive me out,” Hensley told the station. “If you don't want me at your bar, that's it. But the guy I was with was an African-American man. He was wearing a Trump hat.”
