A man appeared to be trying to climb onto a moving fire truck in Los Angeles, and the chaotic incident was captured on video, TMZ reported Wednesday.
In a bizarre incident in South Los Angeles, a man tried to block a fire truck on its way to the scene of a car crash, causing mayhem that was captured on video. according to According to TMZ, footage circulating online shows a person jumping onto a fire truck that was responding to an emergency a few blocks away and running into the road.

According to reports, the video shows the man clinging to the fire engine, apparently trying to shake him off. Nevertheless, he maintains his grip and appears to reach inside the vehicle, attempting to grab firefighters. The situation escalates, with two firefighters forced to exit the vehicle and physically remove the man, who briefly flees the scene before being pursued by firefighters. But the confrontation didn’t end there. After initially walking away, the man returned and jumped back onto the fire truck, according to TMZ. He then allegedly gave the firefighters a wild chase until police arrived, after which officers had to use force to subdue and detain the man.
According to TMZ, the man has since been arrested and is currently being charged with interfering with the duties of a firefighter or paramedic and felony assault. The disruption he caused prevented the fire truck he targeted from arriving at the scene of the car accident it was originally dispatched to. Additional units had to be dispatched to deal with the emergency, illustrating the far-reaching impact this incident has had on public safety.
