VIDEO: Dancers protest Trump takeover of Kennedy Center in cringiest demonstration possible

Many dancers took part in the interpretive dance protests against the acquisition of the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and the social media response was as hilarious as expected.

Videos of the Klingy protest showed the line of protesters solely dealt with in front of the cultural center, making strange hand gestures intended to resist President Donald Trump.

“It feels a bit like an offensive to come to the Kennedy Center and threaten our freedom of expression.”

Trump ordered the fire of several members of the Kennedy Center board and chaired February 7th.

“In my direction, we're going to create the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, great again.” He wrote.

“I have decided to quickly close multiple individuals from the board, including the chairman who does not share our vision for the golden age of arts and culture,” he added. “We'll be announcing a new board meeting soon. Great Chairman, Donald J. Trump!”

The move infuriated many on the left who viewed the Centre as a vital cultural institution. On Wednesday, 34 protesters arrived at the center's bus to dance with Trump.

Interpretative dance protester Keira Hartmendoza explained to WRC-TV that Trump, who took over the center, is on a path of constitutional freedom of expression, conversation and reflection.

“It feels like a bit of an attack to come to the Kennedy Center and threaten our freedom of expression,” she said. “Expression is what artists do their best and encourages conversation, reflection and ties people together in community. When it is threatened or reduced, it feels like an attack on constitutional rights. It's there.

The online video showed a ridiculous protest:

Many people on social media were preparing jokes:

“I read in The Art of War in the Art of the Sun that interpretive dance is a devastating tactic reserved for the most dire circumstances. I responded Army veteran Felipe Serrano.

“USAID will pay $5 million for such a protest in Botswana.” I said Another user.

“It looks like an elderly person training in a nursing home.” I answered Another detractor.

NPR It has been reported Despite the Kennedy Center saying it won't change its dance program, the protest organizers said she is already planning another interpretive dance protest.
