Trump Announces Alabama Visit for Football Game

President Donald Trump stated on Friday that he will visit Alabama next week to watch a college football game, expressing his affection for the state. He shared this news during a rally in Mobile, where he mentioned his plans to attend the game between the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama.

“We love Alabama,” he told the enthusiastic crowd. “In fact, we love it so much that I’ll be back next Saturday for the football game between Georgia and Alabama. They say it’s going to be a great match. I would imagine so, given that one team is ranked second and the other seventh. But at this point, those rankings aren’t everything. So, who do you think will win?” he prompted, prompting loud cheers from attendees.

“I figured you’d answer that way,” he responded to their cheers. “But together, we’ve really accomplished a lot in this state. We won Alabama in all three elections, and it’s noteworthy that we achieved the highest vote total of any candidate in the state’s history.”

The game is set to take place on October 10 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

According to a University of Alabama athletics official, they were not aware of any confirmed visit from Trump, but acknowledged that it could happen, as reported by local news sources.

As the midterms draw closer, President Trump has been rallying support across various states. When asked by Breitbart News in September what Republicans should focus on to win, he replied, “Just keep fighting and keep explaining how well we’re doing as a country. We’re better now than we’ve ever been.”

Chris LaCivita, co-campaign manager for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, noted that the former president is on a 30-day campaign trail, which includes tele-rallies that have proven to be highly effective. “There’s no one better than President Trump for mobilizing voters,” he emphasized.

Trump mentioned on Friday, “I never get tired,” in response to his increasing travel commitments.
