Video shows NYC man stab random woman near Times Square

On Saturday, a man sitting in a walker smoking a cigarette was seen on video lunging at two women and stabbing one of them with a large knife near New York City’s Times Square. This act appears to be an unprovoked attack.

The attack occurred Saturday evening near Port Gourmet Deli at West 43rd Street and Eighth Avenue.

Video obtained by the New York Post shows the man leaving the Port Gourmet Deli, leaning his walker against the building and sitting in the walker’s seat.

The man, wearing gray pants, a bright fluorescent green shirt, a black jacket, and an orange hat, lit a cigarette, crossed his arms, and reached inside his jacket.

He then pulled a large kitchen knife from his jacket and lunged at two women, slashing one of them before returning to his pedestrian seat and appearing to smoke a cigarette.

The woman who was stabbed was seen on video placing her hand where the knife allegedly struck her as she backed away.

The women then turn around and start walking in the opposite direction.
