Video Shows Police Chase Down Naked Man On Busy Interstate

Police in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, released body camera footage of an officer chasing a naked man after his car crashed into a guardrail on a busy highway, The National Desk reported Saturday.

The video shows a naked man walking away from the scene of the accident as officers yell, “Hey, police, come here, police!” Officers then ordered the closure of southbound lanes of the interstate as the man fled toward the roadway.

“Stop your car, you’re going into traffic,” a police officer can be heard saying.

Footage shows officers chasing the suspect on foot at the speed of their patrol car, yelling “stop, police, stop” at the suspect.

When officers on foot arrived at the suspect, the video shows officers rushing by in a patrol car approach the naked man lying face down on the highway.

“Hands out to your sides! Hey! Hands out to your sides! Do it now. Don’t move!” the officer said, apparently pointing his gun at the suspect.

Body camera video then showed three officers handcuffing the man and placing him in a police car.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of operating while intoxicated (drugged), but later released him to responsible parties, FOX6 reported.

The incident is still under investigation, but it points to a broader problem, according to FOX6.

“We’re just at the tip of the iceberg in how substance abuse disorders can impact people’s health, behavior, and overall societal functioning,” Dr. Nathan Valentine told FOX6. “These are very common diseases.”
