Mark Ruffalo expressed his frustration with President Donald Trump during a lively event for the midterm elections on Sunday night, passionately shouting phrases like “hands off our fucking vote” and “I’m gonna Hulk out.” He added, “You won’t like me when I’m angry.”
“This election is really significant. There’s a lot at stake,” Ruffalo began at the “Hands Off Our Vote” gathering in New York City.
“We all think we’ll win. But honestly, we know they’ll try to steal it. They’ll do whatever it takes. This fight won’t be over just because we win one night,” the Avengers actor said.
“It’ll require all of us to stick together, to remain hopeful and resilient afterward,” he added at the rally, which also featured Robert De Niro voicing his opposition to Trump.
Ruffalo continued by discussing concerns about voter suppression, stating, “There’s been a lot of talk about what Trump and the Republicans might do to undermine our vote this election.”
“We need to stay alert for potential threats, especially from figures like Elon,” he mentioned. “That’s where the cybersecurity of our elections comes into play.”
“I’m not claiming to be an expert here, but I’ve spoken with those who are,” Ruffalo said. “They keep saying that there’s a risk during the transfer of votes from polling places to county centers and then to the states.”
To shield votes from interference, both domestic and foreign, Ruffalo urged attendees to join Free Speech for People. He indicated that the organization would push election officials to authenticate the vote totals from every machine as they are compiled at the county and state levels.

The Spotlight actor then directed some heated words at Trump, saying, “We need to oust this guy. We must turn him into a lame duck!”
“With another two years of this administration, who knows what chaos he’ll stir up? He’s suggesting we throw Democrats out of the country, and he genuinely means it,” Ruffalo warned fervently.
“I get it, we’re all so exhausted, but we can’t afford to give up now,” he insisted, raising his voice, “They’re going to try to stop us from reclaiming our country, and we refuse to allow it! Trump, you’re not stopping us! Hands off our fucking vote!”
“I’m about to Hulk out. Trust me, you won’t like me angry,” Ruffalo added.
As he wrapped up, he declared, “They are going to do everything possible to keep us down and make us feel insignificant. They want us to feel helpless, to think it’s all inevitable.”
“But it’s not inevitable!” the Foxcatcher actor shouted. “We are the inevitable force!”
