The Green Bay Packers had a very interesting turn late in the game, but the Minnesota Vikings remained undefeated by defeating their NFC North foe 31-29 on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field.
Sam Darnold and the Vikings' offense were once again electric, and although the scoreboard read 28-0, it looked like this offense would be doomed early on.
However, the game would end with the Vikings having to recover an onside kick attempt by the Packers. The Packers gained momentum in the second half and were able to significantly close the lead.

However, all their desperate efforts were in vain as Minnesota recovered the onside kick attempt and won 4-0.
This was one of the more notable games of the weekend, as the Vikings replaced Love, who suffered an anterior center sprain, with Malik Willis after losing to Philadelphia in Week 1 and have won their last two games. Dropped into Green Bay to play against the team. Eagles.
But the Vikings showed their dominance from the start, going 73 yards for a touchdown in just six plays and scoring on Jordan Addison's 29-yard strike.

Then, after rookie kicker Brayden Narveson made the first of two missed field goals on Green Bay's first drive, the Vikings went another 73 yards before Darnold hit tight end Josh Oliver. He found the ball and scored a 2-yard touchdown.
Things started to go awry for the Packers early in the second quarter when Addison found the end zone again on a 7-yard run and Love threw an interception for another touchdown.

Two plays later, Darnold gave up a dime to Justin Jefferson for a 14-yard score down the right sideline.

But Green Bay didn't turn it over in this game. Things started to turn at the end of the first half when Love found Jayden Reed, who had seven catches for a game-high 139 yards, for a touchdown and the Packers went ahead.
The second half then started to belong to the home team, as Love scored the first of two second-half touchdowns to Dontavion Wicks early in the fourth quarter.
The turning point came when Darnold was fired and the Packers found themselves in the red zone. Two plays later, Love saw tight end Tucker Craft drive into the end zone from 13 yards left, get a rare “octopus” and also catch the two-point conversion to make it 28-22.
Darnold and the Vikings got back on track with three field goal tries, but the Packers' defense continued to give the offense opportunities to come back. But it was too little, too late for Green Bay.
Darnold had a very efficient afternoon as well, completing 20 of 28 for 275 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Love, on the other hand, had four passes for yards and three interceptions, but completed 32 of 54 passes for 389 yards.

The passing game was great for Minnesota, with Aaron Jones, returning to his old Lambeau Field after his time with the Packers, rushing for 93 yards on 22 carries and catching four passes for 46 yards.
