The Minnesota Vikings nearly choked out a thrilling victory Sunday at Soldier Field.
The Vikings led by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but needed an overtime field goal to beat the Chicago Bears, 30-27.
With 22 seconds left and 11 points behind, Caleb Williams hit Keenan Allen for a 1-yard score, and Williams found DJ Moore for a successful two-point conversion.

The Bears then recovered an onside kick, the third onside kick of the season in the NFL. After Moore's long catch, they quickly reached field goal range and drilled a field goal to send the game into overtime. They outscored the Vikings 17-3 in the fourth quarter.
The Bears went 3-and-out on their first possession of overtime, and that was the last time they touched the ball that day.
Justin Jefferson had just one catch in regulation, but his second catch of the game moved Minnesota up the middle. A few plays later, Sam Darnold found TJ Hockenson for a 29-yard gain that put him inside the 10-yard line. After Darnold hit a knee in the middle of the hash marks, John Parker Romo made a chip shot to give Minnesota the win.

The Chiefs took a double-digit lead late in the game, but survived by running away against the Panthers.
It was the best day in a while for the Bears' offense, which had failed to score 20 points in each of its previous four games and lost each one. However, it seems that 27 is not enough.
Darnold completed 22 of 34 for 330 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Addison had eight catches for 162 yards and one score. Aaron Jones also added 106 yards on the ground and another touchdown.
Caleb Williams threw for 340 yards in the loss, and Moore had seven catches for 106 yards and a touchdown. Allen had nine catches for 86 yards and a score in the fourth quarter.
