Vince Coglianese Alerts That Left-Wing Violence Was Evident At ‘No Kings’ Protests

Concerns Over ‘Assassination Culture’ at Protests

During a recent episode of “Vince,” Vince Collanese, editorial director at Daily Caller, shared his observations from the “No Kings” demonstrations held nationwide on Saturday. He noted several instances that he believes reflect a concerning trend of what he described as assassination culture.

Protests were sparked against President Donald Trump and his policies, particularly aimed at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Collanese commented that the atmosphere at some of the events resembled the kind of sentiment that has historically led to assassination attempts by those on the left. Some demonstrations even turned violent.

Collanese remarked, “I saw numerous examples of what I would call assassination culture this weekend at the ‘No Kings’ protests. It’s almost right there for everyone to see, displayed on their clothing.” He contrasted this with typical patriotic expressions, suggesting that protesters were wearing messages like, “The Second Amendment is for shooting ICE.” He also pointed to vandalism that suggested violent intentions toward ICE officers.

He showed a video clip from the Los Angeles protests where demonstrators surrounded the Department of Homeland Security workers. One protester, partially obscured by a mask, was seen wearing a shirt with a provocative message relating to the Second Amendment and ICE.

According to reports, about 1,000 protesters clashed with police at the Roybal Federal Building, throwing projectiles, which escalated the confrontations. Collanese elaborated on his concerns, noting how masked individuals at these protests indicated a dangerous mindset similar to previous assassination attempts—including one targeting President Trump.

He brought up alarming statistics from a report by the Network Communicable Disease Research Institute, which indicated that a significant portion of individuals on the left had expressed some level of justification for the violent actions against prominent figures like Musk and Trump. This, he argued, signifies a serious threat that should be acknowledged.

Furthermore, Collanese connected this so-called assassination culture to various acts of violence and threats against figures such as Charlie Kirk and Elon Musk, emphasizing that it poses a substantial risk to public safety and political stability.

In light of these events, Collanese urged that it’s crucial for society to address this issue seriously, asserting that there shouldn’t be any ambiguity over its severity.

Interestingly, while the “No Kings” movement claims to stand against authoritarianism, Collanese highlighted the fact that some affiliated groups have voiced support for oppressive regimes abroad, raising questions about their true intentions.
