Vince McMahon involved in serious car accident in Connecticut

Vince McMahon, the former WWE chairman, was recently involved in a serious car accident in Connecticut, as reported by several sources.

The incident occurred Thursday morning near Westport, where McMahon, 79, collided with a median guardrail after his 2024 BMW 430 collided with another 2023 BMW 430. The report from TMZ also mentioned that a Ford Fusion traveling in the opposite direction was struck by debris from the accident.

Barbara Dolan, who shared her experience on Facebook, stated that McMahon’s vehicle hit her BMW while she was en route to the ferry headed to Martha’s Vineyard.

Fortunately, it seems that Dolan wasn’t seriously hurt; however, McMahon faces charges for reckless driving—a misdemeanor.

Photos from the crash showed considerable damage to McMahon’s Bentley.

The accident coincidentally happened on the same day that wrestling icon Hulk Hogan passed away at 71. Not long after the crash, McMahon took to social media to express his condolences. He said, “The world has lost its treasure today,” adding that Hogan was the greatest WWE superstar of all time. McMahon highlighted Hogan’s pivotal role in transitioning from a wrestling star to a global phenomenon.

He reflected on Hogan’s unmatched dedication, stating, “His grit and thirst for success were unparalleled and made him the perfect performer.”

McMahon ended his tribute with a nod to one of Hogan’s favorite sayings: “Train, take your vitamins and say your prayers. Today we pray for him.”

According to TMZ, McMahon is scheduled to appear in court next month.
