Actor Vince Vaughn joined President Donald Trump in his oval office on Good Friday after attending a prayer service at the U.S. Capitol.
Vaughn is famous for his comedic roles like comedy Wedding Crusher, Old schooland Dodgeball: The True Stories of the Underdogposed with a card for the photo.
Images of the White House where “The White House Crushers” are suitable is played in the 2005 film Wedding CrusherVaughn and co-star Owen Wilson played the Washington, DC pair, who crashed the wedding to welcome a woman.
This is not the first public interaction between Trump and Vaughan since the real estate mogul entered the political realm. The pair and first lady Melania Trump chatted in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game between Louisiana State University and Clemson during Trump’s first term in January 2020.
Vaugn also attended Good Friday service at the U.S. Capitol.
Rev. Patrick Mahoney, director of the Christian Defense Union, tweeted an image of Vaughan and himself on the Capitol stairs.
“I bumped into Vince Vaughn [sic] In our Good Friday Service in Capitol, USA [sic]. He was here with his family. Such a friendly and warm person,” Mahony said.
He added that Vaughn told him “Gold Breath You” and “Continue doing a good job.”
Vaughn has discussed his conservative tendencies in the past. Interview in 2013 Politico Magazine,actor I answered When asked if he considers himself a conservative, he was positive.
“Yes,” Vaughn said at the time. “I’m a huge supporter of Ron Paul, but I’m more conservative than always being.”
He added:
I think as you get older, you only have less confidence in the government running something. And when you really go back and see the principles of constitution and freedom, you start to realize. The real purpose of the government is to protect the rights of individuals to think about and pursue what they are interested in.
Vaughn is also a defender of the Second Amendment.
