UNICEF Responds to Humanitarian Issues in Gaza

During a segment on CNN International’s “The Brief,” UNICEF spokesman Joe English addressed concerns regarding Hamas and its impact on humanitarian efforts in Gaza. He stated, “Violence is never the answer and will never resolve a humanitarian crisis,” adding, “When we distribute food, we ensure it reaches the children.”

Host Jim Saito questioned the situation, saying, “Israel accuses Hamas of misappropriating aid. What are the actual facts on the ground?”

English reiterated UNICEF’s stance, asserting, “Our position remains consistent. Violence is not a solution to humanitarian crises. UNICEF is dedicated to reaching those in need, even at the last minute. We implement our programs globally to ensure access for children in need.”
