Viral Jewish influencer calls out Jon Stewart for comments for spewing ‘hate’

Viral influencer Zach Sage Fox has called out Jewish liberal comedian Jon Stewart for comments he made in a recent video posted to social media.

Fox, who is Jewish, criticized Stewart for comments she made last week on “The Daily Show” in response to a clip in which former President Trump said Vice President Harris “hated Jews.” Stewart responded, “We’re not losing out. We’re getting beat up out there. I don’t even know how much I like myself right now.”

“Jon, I take no pleasure in criticizing you,” Fox said in a video message to Stewart. “As a fat Jewish kid who dreamed of going into political comedy, you were one of my biggest inspirations. Not only because you’re so amazingly funny, but also because you’re Jewish. There are so few people like us in this whole wide world, so when any of us are successful, it’s an inspiration to me.”

“And you played a Jew. Half the comedy you became famous for revolved around Jewish humor, around being Jewish,” he continued. “After October 7, when you were silent about the greatest genocide of Jews since the Holocaust, I began to wonder if I’d been wrong to have worshipped you as a child. But as most of my greatest Jewish icons were silent, I tried not to hold you responsible.”

Influencers warn that Gen Z is becoming a “terrorism generation” as TikTok takes an “ominous turn” since October 7

Fox criticized Stewart’s comments about the Israel-Hamas war in recent months, following the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack and subsequent anti-Israel protests.

“Then, during your time on The Daily Show, you spent months bashing Israel, but never said a bad word about Hamas,” Fox said. “Whether you hate Jews or not, they’re a genocidal terrorist group that would chop off your head the minute you shook their hand. Now you’re using your massive platform to try to divide your own people while we’re still in mourning, while hundreds of our people are still being held hostage.”

“Not only is it awful, but you’re telling millions of people outright lies,” he added. “Jews don’t hate Jews right now. We are united like never before, like I’ve never seen in my life. This unity has given me the opportunity to speak up for our people who have always been persecuted. But I don’t think you intended to lie, which means you shouldn’t be involved in the Jewish community.”

Viral influencer Zack Sage Fox puts spotlight on ignorant anti-Israel protesters: ‘No one knew anything’

Fox, who has more than 1 million followers on TikTok and 100,000 on Instagram, attended the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania and co-founded a multi-million dollar media company. Fat Camp FilmsHe has produced content for major platforms such as Yahoo!, Disney Channel, Hulu, and HBO. Since October 7, he has been particularly outspoken about his Zionist beliefs.

“Now, we may not agree with each other on everything. I mean, we’re fucking Jews,” he continued, “but we don’t hate each other. Quite the opposite. We are each other and we’re doing the best we can right now. The last thing we need is someone claiming to represent and speak for us, but who clearly hates his ancestry. Now I understand why you changed your last name, and why maybe a Zionist like me, or a proud Jew who auditioned multiple times for The Daily Show, was never even given a chance.”

“Luckily, things have worked out well because when the nation needed me, I was there, and I hope you do too,” he added. “If you felt the same goodness I have felt these last nine months, you would not feel like spewing this hate.”

Fox said she still respected Stewart and urged him to remember his Jewish roots.

“I hope we can meet one day,” he said. “I still admire you in so many ways and I want to show you the Jewish joy that you miss. Nothing beats it. The Jewish spirit is real and it’s stronger than it’s ever been.”

“And to any weird Jewish kids watching this and trying to be comedians right now, you don’t need to look to strong Jewish idols from the past,” he continued. “There’s me and a whole new generation of Jewish rock stars that have emerged since October 7th who will continue to inspire you, stand up for what’s right, and love you unconditionally from afar.”

“We find humor in fear and happiness in sadness, because Jews have always done that,” he said. “And that’s why Jewish humor is so rich and so important to our survival, and it’s very dark humor. So the joke is on you, Jon Liebowitz. I’m sorry, Jon Stewart. I didn’t mean to offend you. I know you don’t like being called a Jew.”

Influencer travels to the West Bank to find out if Palestinians support Hamas, but nearly makes it out alive

Fox is an outspoken supporter of Israel and has produced videos that have garnered millions of views online.

In May, Fox made a viral video in which he questioned anti-Israel protesters about the Israel-Hamas war, offering $100 to anyone who could correctly answer basic questions about the ongoing conflict. Not a single protester got a single answer right.

“I don’t think we handed out a single $100 bill in that entire time. Nobody knew anything,” Fox said. Fox News Digital.

Last month, Fox traveled to the West Bank to find out whether Palestinians really support the Hamas terror group, but Palestinian groups were outraged by her questioning of women and threatened her life because they believed women should not speak for all Palestinians.
